Apostille
Apostille on documents from Russia and Ukraine for use in the United States
August 14, 2026

An apostille is a government authentication under the Hague Convention. People search “апостиль на свидетельство о рождении”, “apostille USA”, “апостиль Россия”, “апостиль Украина” when a school, a court, USCIS, or a notary abroad will not take a plain copy.
DOCROOM does not issue apostilles. We prepare the request, check that the original is eligible, and organize filing with the competent authority — a U.S. secretary of state, a court, or the foreign ministry of the country that issued the record.
U.S. document or a CIS document
A New York vital record is apostilled in New York. A diploma issued in another state is apostilled in that state. A birth certificate from Ukraine or Russia is apostilled in the country of issue, then translated if it will be used in the United States.
The sequence matters. Apostille first, then translation — or translation with the apostille page included — depending on who will read the file. We name the order before you pay.
Timelines
A state apostille in the U.S. is often days to a few weeks. A foreign civil-registry apostille can take longer, especially if the record itself must be reissued. Carrier and government fees are separate from our preparation fee.
